True Housing (Formerly the Inn Home)

Women and Mothers Programs
The Women and Mother’s Collaboration was developed through a need identified in our community based program supporting young women whose substance use impacts their ability to safely parent their children. The STAR program engages parents in treatment services and helps them access preventative healthcare support.

Residential and Independent Living Program
True Housing’s programs have been serving teenage youth for over 50 years. Through both a 12-bed residential site in SE Portland and a five-bed Independent Living Program in Oregon City, these services support youth who have not succeeded in traditional foster homes. Youth receive 24 hour staff support, specialized case management, independent living skills, and the security of a stable home environment. Together we focus on educational support, tutoring, and skill development so as to successfully transition these young men into long-term stable housing with a solid plan for their future.

Youth Homeless Demonstration Program
In August 2019, Clackamas County was one of 23 communities across the country to be awarded funds through the Department of Urban Development’s Youth Homeless Demonstration Project (YHDP) with the purpose of preventing and ending homelessness for unaccompanied youth and young adults. Parrott Creek and True Housing participated in a year-long cross-system collaboration to design a county-wide plan.
