Independent Living Program

Molalla House

Molalla House is a five bed facility located in Oregon City. This transitional housing program supports male and male-identifying young adults aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness who could benefit from ongoing support. Young adults living at Molalla House receive 24 hour staff support and the security of a stable home environment where they can learn skills related to communal living. In addition to learning how to live with others, young adults spend time each week with their case manager learning life skills that will support them in achieving a fully independent and self-determined life.

These include but are not limited to:

  • Structured group living
  • Budgeting
  • General organizational skills
  • Interview skills
  • Resume building
  • Household organization, cooking, cleaning, shopping, driver’s education etc.
  • Career Development
  • Support navigating health care/medical systems
