Parrott Creek Child & Family Services
HistoryIn the late 1950's, boys in Clackamas county courts because of law violations were returned home or sent to the State training school - there was no middle ground. Seeking an alternative, voters passed a resolution in 1968 to create a residential facility to treat delinquent youth. In February 1969, the first boys entered the program then known as Parrott Creek Ranch. In 1976, the agency began providing post residential services, helping boys and their families adjust from a structured setting back to the community. Since those early days, Parrott Creek Child & Family Services has expanded and evolved into a vibrant organization with a mission of "…building stronger families and safer communities…" Please see our most recent Annual Report for additional information on the organization and how efficiently and effectively Parrott Creek serves high risk youth and families in Clackamas County.
