Parrott Creek Child & Family Services is a Clackamas County nonprofit that relies on our community to help support it financially, as well as with volunteers. In this difficult economic climate, we have never been more challenged to find the resources to meet the needs in our community. We need our community’s support—both financial and volunteers—to continue meeting the challenges before us.
Making a Gift:
Your financial support is critical to our kids. Your contribution will do many things—such as helping us provide essential services, enrich educational and treatment experiences, facilitate parental participation and insure our programs achieve the highest levels of effectiveness. Every dollar makes a difference.
Volunteers are an essential part of our organization. There are many volunteer facets to our organization. Our volunteer Board of Directors helps govern and guide the organization. Fundraising requires many hands, and is always in need of volunteers who enjoy this area, particularly for our spring breakfast, which is our largest fundraising event of the year. Each program also has distinct volunteer opportunities, some of which are listed below. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Linda Winnett.
The Ranch and Shelter Care: Volunteers provide enrichment classes or learning in a specific field of expertise, or they might share a favorite hobby, or teach a music or dance class.
Diversion Programs: Volunteers are central to the diversion program. Volunteers serve on community diversion panels in the cities of Gladstone, Milwaukie, Oregon City, West Linn, Lake Oswego, and Canby. Volunteers usually meet about once per month to help decide an education/community service plan for teens who have had their first brush with the law.
