This program provides home based services to Clackamas County parents or those expecting. Family Support Workers provide home visitation, parenting, parenting groups, child development, assessment, education, and link families to community resources.

Supportive and participating partners include the Clackamas Commission on Children and Families, the Clackamas County branch of the State Department of Human Services, and community groups and churches.

Through home visitation, Family Support Workers document a child's progress in meeting developmental milestones; assure that babies receive immunizations and well baby check ups, and monitor connections with community providers.

This past fiscal year over 150 families received intensive services from a team of Family Support Worker. Over 95% of the families reported significant learning in child development, parenting skills and positive discipline. Substance abuse decreased in these families by 44% and family violence by 50% after 18 months of intensive home visitation. Over 96% of the children were fully immunized, compared to 73% in the general population
